प्रत्येक परीक्षा के लिए अलग-अलग समय निर्धारित है। वस्तुनिष्ठ परीक्षाओं में प्रत्येक गलत उत्तर के लिए 1/4 अंक की नकारात्मक अंकन प्रणाली लागू है। व्यक्तिगत परीक्षाओं या कुल अंकों के लिए कोई न्यूनतम योग्यता अंक निर्धारित नहीं हैं; अनुभागीय अंक नहीं रखे जाते हैं। प्रारंभिक परीक्षा में प्राप्त कुल अंकों के अवरोही क्रम के आधार पर, प्रत्येक श्रेणी में रिक्तियों की संख्या से लगभग 10 गुना उम्मीदवारों को (उपलब्धता के अधीन) मुख्य परीक्षा के लिए चयनित किया जाएगा

प्रत्येक गलत उत्तर के लिए 1/4 अंक की नेगेटिव मार्किंग लागू है। उम्मीदवारों को बैंक द्वारा निर्धारित न्यूनतम अर्हता प्रतिशत अंक प्राप्त करने होंगे (अनुसूचित जाति/अनुसूचित जनजाति/अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग/दिव्यांग/अश्वेत जाति/अश्वेत जाति/अश्वेत जाति के उम्मीदवारों के लिए 5% की छूट उपलब्ध है)। अंतिम मेरिट सूची के लिए केवल मुख्य परीक्षा में प्राप्त कुल अंकों पर ही विचार किया जाएगा; प्रारंभिक परीक्षा के अंक नहीं जोड़े जाएंगे।
