The Central Board of Secondary  Education (CBSE) has officially confirmed that the KVS, NVS and EMRS Tier-II Recruitment Exam Result 2026 will be declared in phases starting mid-August 2026. The confirmation came through an official press note dated 7th August 2026 (Rectt. Notification/01/2025), issued to clarify media reports and rumours about the result. Descriptive answer books for 68 disciplines, totalling more than 2.1 lakh answer sheets, are currently undergoing physical evaluation, which CBSE says is at an advanced stage.

What Did CBSE Say in the Official Press Note?
CBSE noted that certain media reports had been circulating regarding the declaration of Tier-II examination results for KVS, NVS and EMRS recruitment, conducted in March 2026. In response, the Board issued this press note to set out the actual status of evaluation and to caution candidates against relying on unverified information.

According to the press note, the Tier-II examination included both objective and descriptive sections. The display of provisional answer keys and OMR sheet images has been completed, and the evaluation of OMR (objective) sheets is finished. However, the descriptive answer books - more than 2.1 lakh of them, spanning 68 disciplines - are still being physically evaluated, and this process is at an advanced stage.

CBSE has stated that results will be declared in phases, commencing mid-August 2026, rather than as a single release date for all posts. This means candidates for different posts or disciplines may see their results announced on different dates within this phase-wise rollout.
